Letter To Alumnae
What a great month for the ladies of Epsilon Nu…
The month of September was Fall recruitment!! We are so excited to announce that we have taken a Fall ’18 class of 5 women! It’s very exciting welcoming these ladies into our amazing sisterhood. Right from the start we knew these girls would add something great to Epsilon Nu.
We hosted 3 COB parties the 24th-26th, themed: Game Night, Popcorn & PJ’s, and “Get the Scoop with Alpha Xi”, where we provided different chips and dip. To celebrate their Bid Day, our Chapter Life VP, Rachel, and Membership team, Jamie and Ashley, collaborated on a very fun sisterhood event! We spent a couple hours eating pizza, laying on blankets, and taking pictures at Elizabeth Park right near the university. We even did an ‘Inspire’ activity where everyone took turns writing something nice about each other. It couldn’t have been a more beautiful day!!
Our celebration planning is still underway! Epsilon Nu’s 50th anniversary will be celebrated on November 3rdhere at the University of Hartford. It will be a casual luncheon in the Konover Campus Center. It will be great to spend time, and reconnect with sisters. Later in the day we will be painting the anchor!! The cost per person is $25. Reach out to our advisor, Jodi Kenney, about how to pay. Any extra funds will be used to donate to our amazing philanthropy, Autism Speaks! Sunday the 4th, we will be celebrating 125 years notionally with a brunch and ceremony on campus, location TBD. We hope to see everyone there… we cant wait to meet you all!!
As we continue on the traditions of our Sisterhood, we always remember the morals and values of Alpha Xi Delta that you have graciously passed down to us.
